Probable starting lineups:

Maribor have one point after the first two rounds of the Champions League. The Slovenian champions played an 1:1 draw with Spartak Moscow in the first round, while lost 3:0 to Sevilla in the second. According to the football pundits, Maribor are outsiders in this group. The next two matches with Liverpool will show how real this is. However, it is dangerous to underestimate the Slovenians. They are in the group stage of the Champions League third time, previously competed in season 2014/15. And one results should be mentioned - Maribor played an 1:1 draw at home with Chelsea. They are quite solid at home - Maribor are unbeaten in eight European home fixtures, winning five of them. For sure they won't surrender on this match and I believe coach Darko Milanic will find a way to motivate his players. For this match he has Luka Zahovic and Dare Vrsic available after both missed out against Sevilla. That means only two players remain sidelined for the hosts - defenders Marko Suler and Denis Sme.
Liverpool didn't start the new season according to the expectations. The Reds are out of form at the moment and they have just one victory on the last eight matches across all competitions. In that period they suffered two defeats, from Manchester City in the Premier League and from Leicester City in the League Cup. Most of these games (5) have finished with draw. The fans are disappointed, however the manager Jurgen Klopp is heavily trying to explain that his team isn't bad. Nevertheless, it is clear the situation isn't good. The attack is toothless and Liverpool have a problem to score. To be worse, the key striker Sadio Mane sustained a hamstring injury playing for Senegal against Cape Verde during the international break and will be sidelined for at least six weeks. And Liverpool are struggling without Mane. By the way, Mane is on the 30-man shortlist for the Ballon d'Or. In addition, Adam Lallana, Adam Bogan and Nathaniel Clyne remain on the injury list.
Maribor vs Liverpool Prediction:
I think Maribor won't lose with more than two goals. Liverpool are out of form at the moment and the players confidence isn't high. In addition, their best striker Sadio Mane won't play due to injury. Maribor could be unpleasant opponents, particularly at stadium Ljudski Vrt where they are unbeaten on the last eight European home fixtures.
Maribor vs Liverpool Pick: Maribor +2.5 AH
